Thomas Burton is a classical musician based in the Greater Toronto Area. He works as a choral conductor, music educator, church musician, and tenor, with a strong presence in both performance and teaching communities.
The Website:
This five-page website, built using Squarespace, showcases Thomas’ upcoming events, recordings, and his background in education and musical work. The site serves as both a digital portfolio and a central hub for connecting with audiences and collaborators.
Code Meets Creativity
While Squarespace is known for its user-friendly interface and wide adoption as a content management system, it can be limiting without a premium plan. My background in software development allowed me to push past those limitations. By implementing custom CSS, I was able to enhance the site’s design and functionality, creating a more engaging and professional-looking website that stands out—even on a basic plan.
